The types of visa and visa requirements

Due to the fact of joining the Republic of Azerbaijan to the international treaties and according to the laws of the Republic of Azerbaijan on “Entry into or exit from the country and on passports” dates July 14, 1994 and on “Entry into or exit from the country and on passports” dated November 29, 1994, the Consular Section of the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Beijing provides the following types of Visa

To obtain a visa for travel to the Republic of Azerbaijan the following documents must be submitted to the Consular section of the Embassy:

• An invitation from Azerbaijan (Invitation should be sent through Consular Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic f Azerbaijan)

• Travelers should submit a letter of request from the employer

• One completed visa application form (Please, answer all questions by typing or clearly printing in ink)

• Original passport

• One Passport-size photo

• Consular fee for issuing visas:
Transit single entry (up to 5 days) - $20US dollars
Transit double entry (up to 10 days) - $40US dollars
Single entry (up to 90 days) - $40US dollars

• Diplomatic and official passports are fee-exempt

• Processing time – 3 working day

• Business hours are Mondays, Wednesday and Friday 9:30 am to 12:30 am

• All foreigners visiting Azerbaijan for a period of more than 30 days must register their passports with the local passport-registration authorities.

Members of official delegations, participants of international events, national of the countries of Europe, America and a number of Asian countries are granted a visa in case of necessity, upon arrival in the territory of a country according to the bilateral and multilateral agreements to which Republic of Azerbaijan is a party. In case of the absence of the agreement on consular service, regulating entry-exit visa between Republic of Azerbaijan and other States, it is required that a letter of invitation to be arranged for nationals of those countries in advance from the receiving side.

签证类型与签证规定

基于阿塞拜疆共和国加入国际条约，并根据《阿塞拜疆共和国出入境与护照法》（1994年12月修订）的法律条款规定，阿塞拜疆驻华大使馆北京领事馆提供如下签证类型：

办理阿塞拜疆签证，需向领事馆提交以下资料或者文件：

1、阿塞拜疆方面的邀请函（邀请函需由阿塞拜疆共和国外交部领事司认证）

2、游客需提交其所在单位的在职证明

3、完整地填写一份签证申请表（请认真回答所有问题并打印申请表）

4、有效护照原件

5、照片一张（2寸白底彩色近照）

6、签证费用：

（1）一次过境（最多停留5天）——＄20美元

（2）两次过境（最多停留10天）——＄40美元

（3）一次入境（最多停留90天）——＄40美元

7、持外交、公务护照免收费

8、办理时间：3个工作日

9、办公时间：凡星期一、星期三和星期五，早9：30——午12：30

10、所有访问阿塞拜疆30天以上的外国人需向当地护照登记机构登记护照。

11、官方代表团成员、国际事务的参与者、欧洲国家、美国和亚洲一些国家的公民在到达阿塞拜疆领土之日，根据阿塞拜疆共和国缔结的单边或双边的协议，在必要的时候会予以签证。如果没有阿塞拜疆与他国制定的关于出入境签证的协议，需提前准备一封阿塞拜疆方的邀请函。
